Jessica Cohen
Background
From stages to studios, giving vision a voice.
My career began in performance, training as a professional ballerina and performing on Broadway. That artist's journey taught me how the human experience can be articulated through voice and body with precision and care. Technical discipline, grit, and resilience paired with the sensitivity of creating resonance through personal expression. It was an unconventional curriculum, and it's one I carry into everything I build now.
When I stepped beyond the stage, I carried that discipline into storytelling and media. I co-founded Artists Becoming, a platform and podcast exploring the inner lives, health, and well-being of elite performers. I co-wrote and produced a feature film that screened at the San Francisco Film Festival. I began translating complex ideas into stories that could reach people and endure.
Now I lead creative production and content strategy for a top-ranked health and longevity podcast with over 100 million downloads, shaping editorial direction, guest strategy, brand narrative, and the full scope of production from concept through delivery. Since joining as the first woman on the digital team, I've driven meaningful expansion of the show's women's health coverage, bringing more female clinicians, researchers, and stories into the conversation.
Every chapter of my story has shaped the way I work: with rigor, creative intuition, and an intrinsic drive to create work that carries a lasting legacy.

Editorial Strategy
Women's Health Editorial Expansion
Since joining the team, I've intentionally shifted the editorial lens toward women's health and female physiology — expanding coverage from 3 episodes per year to 13+ and growing, bringing more female voices, clinicians, and research to the forefront of a predominantly male audience. Shaping the narrative around women's health within one of the most influential platforms in the space.
